Light micrograph of poorly differentiated colonic adenocarcinoma. Colon cancer (adenocarcinoma) that is poorly differentiated least resembles the normal colon cells from which it arose. Here, the colon cancer cells are arranged in thin cords and not as easily recognizable glandular structures as more well differentiated colon cancers would look like. Haematoxylin and eosin stained tissue section. Magnification: 200x when printed at 10 centimetres.
