Trilobite (Drotops sp.) fossil. Trilobites were marine arthropods that fed as they crawled on the seabed. They lived between 500 and 300 million years ago and are now extinct. Drotops sp. reached lengths of around 20 centimetres, large in comparison to most other trilobites. This fossil dates to the late Upper Denovian period, about 360 million years ago. Found in Morocco.
