Ancient lobe-finned fish (Axelrodichthys araripensis) fossil. This fossil dates to the Cretaceous period, 122-112 million years ago. Most of the species of this genus reached 1-2 metres in length. It had an elongated, low and wide skull. Found in Brazil.
