The late General Sir George A. Wetherall, K.C.B., 1868. The death of this distinguished officer, Sir George Augustus Wetherall, G.C.B. and K.H., who was Governor of the Royal Military College at Sandhurst, was lately recorded in our Journal; and we published a brief memoir of him in our Obituary chronicle;...recapitulating his services in the Army and mentioning the chief events of his personal career. The portrait we have engraved will he recognised as a characteristic likeness. From "Illustrated London News", 1868.
