The Cunard White Star liner 'Aquitania' 'lay in State' in Berth 108 in the New Docks, Southampton, today (Thursday) awaiting removal to the breakers' yards. Designed 40 years ago and launched April 21st 1913 on the Clydebank, the 'Aquitania' served in two world wars and gave unbroken service as a luxury liner in the years between.
