All-British Velvet For Queen's Robes. Harry Spinks of Braintree, aged 78, at work on the Abbey draperies. He has been weaving for 62 years. The Queen's coronation robes will be all-British. The silk from which they will be made was spun in Kent, and thrown (twisted into Yarn), Dyed, Woven, and will be made and embroidered, in British Workshops.
