Small emerald moth (Hemistola chrysoprasaria) resting on a leaf in a garden habitat. The flight period is June to August with single generation each year. This species is member of the Geometridae family and is found throughout Europe except the far north. Their larval foodplant is wild clematis. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in June.
