Fossil of Phareodus, a genus of freshwater fish that lived in the Eocene and Oligocene epochs, between 40 to 20 million years ago, in parts of Australia and North America. This specimen, actual length 33 cm, was extracted from fresh water sediments of the Green River Formation in southwestern Wyoming in the USA.
