Young Mozambican scientist Diolinda Mundoza admires a juvenile bateleur eagle (Terathopius ecaudatus) that she just captured at a goat carcass in Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique. These and other birds of prey are being studied in the park to help managers make decisions about their conservation. Young Mozambicans are invited in from rural communities around the park to work with park scientists and help build science and conservation capacity.
