Photographs of the eleven Players in the 200th Gentlemen and Players cricket match. The match was played on an annual basis, the tradition having started in 1806. The Gentlemen were regarded as amateurs and the Players professional, but the all-round standard was first class (after 1962 the 'amateur' label was abolished).
