Light micrograph of anthracosis or simple coal worker's pneumoconiosis; an occupational hazard of such professions as firefighting and coal mining. Histologically there is accumulation of anthrosilicotic dust in macrophages at the center of the acinus, with associated emphysema of focal dust type.
