Sphinx Moth caterpillar (Sphingidae family) covered with Braconid Wasp cocoons. Female braconid wasps deposit eggs within the body of sphinx moth caterpillars. The eggs hatch and the larvae feed on the caterpillar until they bore through the body of the caterpillar and pupate into cocoons attached to the caterpillar's skin.
