Wat Phra That Lampang Luang (???????????????????); the 鈥楾emple of the Great Buddha Relic of Lampang'; dates back to the 15th century and is a wooden Lanna-style temple found in the Ko Kha district of Lampang Province. It stands atop an artificial mound; and is surrounded by a high and massive brick wall. The temple itself doubles as a wiang (fortified settlement); and was built as a fortified temple.
