NASTURZIO Tropaeolum Majus L. Family of the Tropeolacee; has property of espettorante; tonic; antispasmidico; bechico. The leaves are collected in April; the boccioli in May. Common its momi are: Indian crescione; cappuccina; nasturzio of the garden. It does not grow spontaneously in Italy. It is used for decoctions and instilled of the leaves. Or the leaves that the flowers are eatable and from the aroma rather dolciastro; in the popular tradition they were used in order to stimulate the appetite and to facilitate the digestion.
