The medical heat lamps and thermometers are seen through the windows. The Burdick company was founded in 1913 in Milton, Wisconsin, USA, by Fred Frazier 'Fritz' Burdick (1869-1950). It manufactured light-based therapy lamps and equipment. Such treatments have traditionally been part of physiotherapy (physical therapy).
