Ordovician Graptolites ( Didymograptus murchisoni ) preserved as flat impressions on dark Llanvirn shales at Abereiddy, West Wales. These fossils are interesting firstly because they are seen in situ, also because they are current aligned, showing the direction of marine current flow at the time these rocks were laid down.
