Silberberg Grotto, South Africa. Computer artwork showing the layout of the Silberberg Grotto in the Sterkfontein cave system of South Africa. This is the location where the fossilised remains of a remarkably complete hominid skeleton have been found, dubbed 'Little Foot' due to the diminutive size of the bones. It is thought that the remains belong to a unique Australopithecus species previously found at Makapansgar and Sterkfontein Member Four.
