Submerged shipwreck. This is a fish attraction device (FAD). It has been sunk to provide shelter for fish. This is of benefit to areas that have depleted fish stocks. It can also be an attraction for scuba divers. Unfortunately FADs can adversely affect overall fish stocks in a region, and can also attract continued overfishing.
