Amateur actors perform a Sao Tomense play called 'Auto de Floripes'. The play is traditionally performed each year in August in the middle of Santa Antionio, on the island of Princip?. Sao Tom? and Princip? is Africa's second smallest country with a population of 193 000. It consists of two mountainous islands in the Gulf of New Guinea, straddling the equator, west of Gabon. Princip? is the smaller of the two islands.
