Physicist Dipanwita Banerjee working on the M2 secondary beamline at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). The M2 beamline is located in EHN2 and serves as a high-intensity muon beam facility. It consists of an approximately 600-metre long decay channel for pions and kaons, followed by a 9.9-metre long beryllium absorber where the hadrons are absorbed. The muons are then selected based on their momentum and transported to the experiment.
