Nursery web spider (Pisaura mirabilis), a member of the Pisauridae family. The female spider carries her egg sac below her abdomen and creates a web nursery when the spiderlings emerge from the sac. This species is occurs in woodland and garden habitats and can be found across the palearctic region. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in October.
