Willow beauty (Peribatodes rhomboidaria) moth, a member of the family Geometridae. The flight period is June to August with the odd second brood in September in the south of the UK. This species occurs in a variety of habitats where the larval food plant grows and is found throughout Europe and across the UK. The larval food plants are hawthorn and ivy. Photographed in Somerset, UK, in June.
