Donkey - Jenny, the donkey at Maidstone Zoo, Kent, has given birth to a baby, called The Bey, which, at three days stands 20 inches high an weighs 20 lbs. Jenny was originally brought by a lady from North Africa, where she has seen her being loaded ith two sacks of corn and an Arab. The journey to England involved a taxi ride across Paris.
