Sherlock Meets His Creator's Son It's an historic meeting ...... ! Adrian Conan Doyle, the only surviving son of the late Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of the world's most famous fictional detective, meets up with "Sherlock Holmes". The role of the private sleuth is portrayed by actor Robert Stephens in "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes" which is currently being made at Pinewood Studios near London.
