Barts Hall Keeper becomes city freemen. Member of Kings bodyguard. Yeoman Harry Davis, who is the Messenger and Hall keeper of St Bartholomew's Hospital, has been admitted to the Freedom of the City of London. He was appointed on the Kings Bodyguard of the Yeoman of the Guard in 1923, after having seen 22 years service with the regular army. This is the highest honour a soldier of the non-commissioned ranks can hold. As a yeoman he has taken part in practically every state duty, including the Jubilee of King George and Queen Mary and the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. Altogether he has served under five reigns. 15 February 1938
