Colossi representing Tiye and Amenophis III from the royal funerary temple to the west of Thebes. Amenophis III was an Egyptian pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty. According to different authors he ruled ca. (1405 BC-1367 BC), or (1391 BC-1353 BC), following on from his father Thutmose IV.
