Spiral galaxy NGC 1398. This isolated barred spiral galaxy has thin, tightly-wound spiral arms and a large, prominent nucleus. It lies around 65 million light years from Earth, in the constellation of Fornax. With a diameter of 135,000 light years, it is slightly larger than the Milky Way.
