Twinspot snappers (Lutjanus bohar) shoaling. This fish inhabits reef edges and drop offs in the tropical Indo-Pacific region, from east Africa to the Pacific islands. Larger fish tend to be less associated with shallow reefs, preferring isolated oceanic islands. It feeds mainly on fish, but also takes crustaceans and molluscs. It can reach a length of around 90 centimetres, and is often caught as a food fish. Photographed in the Egyptian Red Sea.
