Group of wandering albatrosses (Diomedea exulans) near a large iceberg in the Weddell Sea off the Antarctic Peninsula in Antarctica. These remarkably efficient gliders are named after the Greek hero Diomedes. They have the largest wingspan of any bird on the planet and can fly up to 40 kilometres per hour.
