Dakotaraptor dinosaur, illustration. Dakotaraptor was a large theropod dinosaur that lived during the late cretaceous period (60 million years ago). It had prominent wing feathers and was one of the largest dinosaurs known to have plumage. It lived in what is now North America in the Montana region known as Hell Creek.
