The Bassac River (commonly called Tonle Bassac) is a distributary of the Tonle Sap and Mekong River. The river starts from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and flows south out to the Vietnamese border near Ch璽u ?廙.
In Vietnam, it is known as the H廕赴 River (S繫ng H廕赴 or H廕赴 Giang in Vietnamese). The Bassac River is a popular entry and exit route for the locals between Cambodia and Vietnam and is used for transporting goods between the two countries.
