Li Hongzhang (Wade?iles: Li Hung-chang), Marquis Suyi of the First Class (February 15, 1823 ??November 7, 1901), was a Chinese civilian official who ended several major rebellions, and a leading statesman of the late Qing Empire. He served in important positions of the Imperial Court, once holding the office of the Viceroy of Zhili.

In a career lasting over sixty years, he served as Prime Minister four separate times (1868??4, 1880??5, February?uly 1886 and 1892??4), more than any other person, and served as Chancellor of the Exchequer four times.
