Mechanical engineer Natalia Magdalena Koziol working on the ATLAS (A Toroidal LHC Apparatus) experiment at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). ATLAS is one of two general-purpose detectors at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). It investigates a wide range of physics, from the search for the Higgs boson to extra dimensions and particles that could make up dark matter. Koziol is responsible for quality assurance of the insulation vacuum system during the Long Shutdown 2.
