Scientist Andreia Cristina Maia Oliveira working in radiation protection at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). The work is focused on the development of a novel detector for Hadron Therapy. Currently, she is characterising the detector in the Calibration Laboratory of the Radiation Protection group and preparing it for the first measurements in clinical proton and carbon ion beams.
