SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket carrying NASAs Europa Clipper spacecraft lifting off from Launch Complex 39A, Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA, on 14th October 2024. The Europa Clipper spacecraft will travel to Jupiters icy moon Europa, where it will determine if there are conditions suitable for life beyond Earth. It should reach its destination in April 2030 and will then fly past the moon around 45 times. It is equipped with an ice-penetrating radar, high-gain antenna, magnetometer and a remote-sensing palette.
