Margaret of Parma, 1885. Margaret (1522-1586) was Governor of the Spanish Netherlands. She was the illegitimate daughter of Holy Roman Emperor Charles V and his mistress Johanna Maria van der Gheynst. Margaret was Duchess of Florence and Duchess of Parma and Piacenza by marriage.
