Light micrograph of a perilobular haemangioma. A perilobular haemangioma is a benign collection of small blood vessels that can be seen in breast tissue. The blood vessels are seen here as roughly round and contain red blood cells (bright red dots). The perilobular haemangioma is present within fibrous breast stroma (pink in most of image). A few fat cells (empty white spaces) can be seen. Haematoxylin and eosin stained tissue section. Magnification: 100x when printed at 10 centimetres.
