Jack (Kid) Berg. One of the most popular boxers from England to visit America; Jack (Kid) Berg; born in Whitechapel (London); has nevertheless been disappointed in his attempt to win official world laurels. Former British lightweight champion; he lost title to Jimmy Walsh. Berg began his professional career at 14; and made three visits to America within the next seven years.
