Light micrograph of low grade appendiceal neoplasm (LAMN). This tumour found in the appendix, is characterized by mucin-producing epithelium. The mucin substance (light blue) is seen here within the strip of epithelial cells which form a horizontal line mid-picture. Underneath the epithelium is pink-stained stromal tissue. Haematoxylin and eosin stained tissue section. Magnification: 400x when printed at 10 centimetres.
