The Defeat of Huascar by Atauhuallpa. Atauhuallpa was the son of the ruler Huaina Ccapac. His brother Huascar succeeded Huaina Ccapac in 1527; as Atauhuallpa was considered illegitimate by Peruvian law. He obtained; however; the kingdom of Quito.
