The Knight of the Road; though carelessly and jovially pursuing his nomadic path-envying no politician his politics; nor no dyspeptic his liver-is yet prone to regard one concrete fact in life as being far above mere principalities and powers. This concrete fact is Tobacco. He prefers the plug; roll; or twist variety; a morsel of which; upon emergency; and in order that no time be needlessly wasted; forms for his epicurean palate an admirable and substantial chew.
