Magnetic spectrometer experimental area at the Large Heavy Ion National Accelerator (Grand Accelerateur National dIons Lourds) in Caen, France. The experimental areas consist of rooms where physicists conduct their experiments, which include target and detection setups. Within these rooms, the beam is guided and focused using dipoles and quadrupoles. Additionally, elements enable the measurement of its physical parameters. The beam manifests as a regular succession of particle clouds, each containing more than 200,000 ions traveling at a speed of approximately one-third the speed of light.
