An early attempt, by the Weapons Research Establishment, Australia, to design and manufacture circuit boards based on designs by De Havilland Dynamics, UK, for the European Launcher Development Programme (ELDO). The boards were made, from synthetic resin-bonded paper with copper tracks on the rear. This example shows a thermionic valve at top right with individual resistors and capacitors below.
