A classical sundial at Parkes radio astronomy observatory, New South Wales, Australia. The suns shadow cast by the gnomon indicates a time of about 2.45pm, but the dial includes corrections for each month, showing the number of minutes to add or subtract. The sundial is dedicated to the memory of John Gatenby Bolton, the observatorys director between 1961 and 1971.
