3rd century CE Roman mosaic depicting the judgment of Paris. This is a mythical story associated with the Iliad in which Paris, a prince of Troy, is asked to choose the most beautiful of three goddesses. He chooses Aphrodite, who rewards him with Helen of Sparta, leading to the Trojan war. This mosaic is displayed in the Archaeological Museum of Seville, Spain.
