Johannes a Lasco or Jan Laski (c1499-1560) Polish Reformation Protestant divine. At Cranmers invitation; he became leader of the Protestant refugees in London; where he preached during the reign of Edward VI. He left England on the accession of the Roman Catholic Mary I. Engraving 1825.
