Light micrograph of the cerebellar cortex stained with Cajals silver nitrate. The dendrites of Purkinje cells can be seen in the molecular layer. The cell bodies of Purkinje cells are surrounded by the axon endings of basket cells. The granular layer shows many afferent and efferent nerve fibres.
