A side view from the jetty of beach Criccieth Castle and headland. Built by Llywelyn ab Iorwerth (the Great) around 1230 the castle was added to by Lleywelyn ap Gruffydd (the Last) Edward I & Edward II and burnt by Owain Glyndwr in 1404.
