Morrison, Colorado, Dinosaur Ridge. Visitors can see hundreds of dinosaur footprints along the ridge, just west of Denver. The tracks of duck-billed herbivores and ostrich-like carnivorous dinosaurs are in rocks from the Early Cretaceous Period. The tracks have been darkened with charcoal to make them more easily visible
