Sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus) tree leaf. This tree is native to central Europe and western Asia. It can grow to 35 metres and live for 400 years. The distinct leaves measure 7??6 centimetres and have five radiating lobes with serrated edges. They also have a leathery texture with thick hairy veins protruding on the underside. Leaves of younger trees are characteristically red or orange. Photographed in April, in Dorset, UK.
